Good News...Bad News

The good news is that 14 Senators have already stated that they will oppose the proposed Tax Hikes. The bad news is that we need 5 more Senators to join with them and KILL the tax hike in special session. The Senators listed above represent our best chance to restore common sense to Annapolis. It's quite possible that some or all of them can be persuaded to see the light and join with us on this issue. Please call and ask them to stand with Maryland's citizens in opposing the largest tax hike in Maryland's history.

STEP 1: If you haven't done so yet, register with our site. By doing so you will automatically sign our on-line petition against the proposed special session and its tax and spend, spend, spend agenda. In addition it will put you on our VIP list for breaking news regarding the special session, and tools you can use to combat it. Click on the "Join Us" picture on the right to register.

STEP 2: Call your legislator. Once you are registered, we will provide you with the tools to phone, email, fax or write your legislators. Letting them know that you oppose the largest tax hike in Maryland's history is the most effective way to stop them. Click on the "Call Them Now" or "Call Them Next" picture on the right to begin. STEP 3: Call your friends, family members, even people who owe you money and tell them to do the same. The proposed tax increases will have a negative impact on everyone. Many of your friends and neighbors are unaware of what's being planned for them. The only way to stop it is to add their voices to your own, and turn up the volume on our message. So call early, call often. Make certain that they get the message.
